William Zhang: a daily "who to follow up with" list from the CRM, as part of a morning briefing with Claude + Follow Up Boss
This is William's review after two months with a Claude-based assistant. Each morning he types "good morning" and the assistant reads the latest activity in Follow Up Boss and tells him which leads to follow up with that day. Reported result: One flagged lead turned into a deal (no number).

- Who to follow up with, drafted texts, calendar tasks
- He copies and sends the texts himself

- A daily "who to follow up with" list from the CRM, as part of a morning briefing.
- Tool
- An AI assistant he built on Claude (he calls her Ashley), connected to Follow Up Boss through its API.
- What they did
This is William's review after two months with a Claude-based assistant. Each morning he types "good morning" and the assistant reads the latest activity in Follow Up Boss and tells him which leads to follow up with that day. He gave it the Follow Up Boss API documents so it could read the data, and a lead-scoring framework based on Keller Williams' method, which he adapted. The assistant tags leads A to D, drafts a follow-up text for each one, and puts a task on his calendar. The same video also covers MLS showing requests and content creation; this record covers only the follow-up part.
- Result
He says one lead that the assistant told him to call became a hot prospect and then a closed deal, and that he would have missed it without the reminder. No number is given for follow-up.
Self-reported by William Zhang; not verified.- Where it goes wrong
- He still has to go into Follow Up Boss to act on the list; the assistant does not manage the CRM end to end. He also says a daily report of everything he did not do made him feel guilty and "really burned me out", so he cut it down to one main task a day.
- Conflict of interest
- Sells AI training He sells AI training: he founded "Real Estate AI Society", a paid community with a waitlist and founding-member price, which he pitches in the video. He also offers free prompts in exchange for a newsletter sign-up and promotes his own tool site.

One of the leads actually became like a hot prospect and I wouldn't have caught it if my Claude AI assistant did not tell me
